Miss Jennie is a high school science teacher in Laramie, WY. Women of the American West have always been an interest. Army laundresses are a passion.
Miss Jennie gives talks to area students, led University of Wyoming Outreach course tours of Fort Laramie, WY when the Outreach School was open, and is a member of a reenacting group, the 5th Cavalry, Cheyenne, WY. She portrays an army laundress, of course!
This web site is a labor of love. It was started in the midst of teaching full-time, and working on a Master's degree full time. The degree was completed in early March, 2009. Check back often, as there is now time to devote to this website!
